Once we began looking at houses, Scott’s skills not only as a realtor, but also as a Red Seal carpenter, really began to shine through. When we would look at a house, I was struck by how comprehensively Scott was thinking about every aspect of each property, and how centred us and our goals were in his mind. Each time it felt like getting a tour of a house, but also like getting a cursory home inspection done at the same time. Scott would certainly point out the positive aspects of each place, but did not shy from raising yellow or red flags when he noticed things were amiss. This alone saved us time and money as we were able to move past certain houses after just an initial viewing, without hiring an inspector.

Once we began pursuing our property more seriously, it became clear how much good will Scott extends throughout the community. The long list of contractors, inspectors and other professionals that he recommended all seemed THRILLED that we were working with Scott, and they all seemed eager to go above and beyond for us as Scott’s clients. Everyone that we contracted for inspections, quotes, etc., did very thorough work and charged fairly for their time and travel. So not only is Scott an good realtor, but through him it felt like we were benefitting from Scott being a good person; being taken care of by a whole team of professionals, who all cared about our interests and worked hard to help us meet our goals.

Once submitting an offer, I was very impressed by how Scott navigated the closing process. His professionalism really shone through here, as he expertly and precisely tracked all the associated deadlines, and made sure we hit all our targets and made all our commitments; all the while continuing to be a calming and supportive partner in ensuring our dream became a reality.
