The Seaside Nest exceeded our expectations 10 fold!!! The on-line photos do not do it justice.
It is very clean, spacious [housed our family of ten], beautifully decorated, yet very comfortable. It is well stocked with amenities: including both a coffee maker and a Keurig, an air fryer and in-house laundry (which is handy if you go to the beach or hike every day)
The view from the beautifully made, large wrap around wooden deck is lovely to sit on with a coffee in the morning, or to eat dinner on, at sunset.
The Seaside Nest is very close to the Cape Breton Highlands, making it very accessible to the famous Skyline Trail (along with many other beautiful trails). Our Host, Jon, was also helpful to answer our questions about the area, and he made great recommendations for near-by tails and beaches. Jon was also quick to answer questions about the Seaside Nest (eg. where things were, or how things worked) while maintaining our privacy.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Seaside Shack. Beautiful space with nice touches and you can’t beat the oceanside view and sunsets. Location is very convenient, short drive to the Highlands National Park and walking distance to many restaurants. Highly recommended.

My family and I have never been to Cheitcamp and staying at the Seaside Shanty was the prefect place to wrap up our getaway. It was so comfortable and provided everything and more to make our trip memorable.
Jon was amazing. He was right there when we needed him for anything, quick responses.
We thoroughly enjoyed being in walking distance to everything and having two different levels of decks to choose from. The lower to escape the sun but still wanting to enjoy the outdoors and the top to enjoy the sunset. We hands down would be back and highly recommend it.

We had a peaceful stay with a tranquil view of the ocean. It was a therapeutic experience staying in this place! Our host Jonathan was amazing and very helpful! Definitely will visit again to stay longer.

Amazing view on the patio! I wasnt expecting to see sunset as it was raining, but magic happened!
Jon is super nice and accommodating. Had such an amazing time on the island, will definitely come back next time we visit.

Extremely clean, thoughtful touches and calming design. We had a very warm welcome and wondeful conversation throughout our stay. Don't forget to get the local tips on food and hikes! Chill on the patio, stargazing, yoga under the sun and ocean breeze!

Stayed here last night and loved it’s convenient location and beautiful patio right over the water! Great views. It has everything you need and it’s very cute and clean. Great hospitality from Jonathan as well. We loved our stay and look forward to the next!
