This is a not a sophisticated, high-end indoor mall; nonetheless, it is a very useful colossal shopping complex in the vicinity of Summerset station.
There are over 200 businesses that include famous and popular coffee houses, restaurants, Walmart Super Center, Winners, Co-op, Best Buy, Home Depot, Staples, Dollarama and lots of small businesses dealing in almost every kind of things.
Ever since we have moved to Walden neighborhood, my wife and I have been visiting this place frequently, for it is the closest shopping place where we get everything that we need.
We have had pleasant experiences at Staples from where I bought S24 Ultra; Manal, Prabal, and Atharva gave excellent customer service. Also, I am highly impressed by polite and helpful service at Best Buy and Walmart. At YMCA, Mr. Vincent left his desk to take us around the facilities at that location!
The parking lot is enormous, and it is not challenging to find a spot to park your car, for free.

Royal Bank was very busy and took over an hour to see a teller. The teller was very polite and helpful once I was at the front of the line. The staff where professional but I have been waiting for a replacement debit card since the beginning of November but have still not received it. I used to bank with TD and they can get a new card at the branch. It has been frustrating.

It was nice, windy, not really busy occasional people coming and going here and there, alot of stores to pick from like the brick, m&m meats, The Donaire place, value village, sleep apnea store.

The Shawnessy Shopping Centre is the same as many in Calgary. Its Okay, the reason it's not "liked it" or "loved it" is the traffic and how people drive their huge truck down the middle of the parking lots, expecting everyone else to move out of their way. How people park is also a concern that I'll return to find my vehicle damaged.

It's a huge shopping centre with quite a good brands like Walmart, McDonald's, SportsChek, BestBuy..
It's pretty close to Ctrain station and has connectivity with major bus routes in the south. The parking lot is not very clean probably because of people throwing trash...
