I purchased 4 pairs of shoes here at the Mooresville Shoe Carnival. I ultimately had to bring back 1 pair. Management evidently wasn’t in a good mood and felt like inconveniencing someone. They behaved like I’d damaged the shoes some way. I was 1st in line. After glancing at the shoes, the manager asked me to wait as they assisted 5 other customers! After that, went to me and started asking me all kinds of questions about the shoes. They gestured to a black spot on the side. I got a napkin out of my pocket and wiped it off. “oh, nice job, buddy,” was the snarky response when I wiped it off. What was supposed to be a simple and quick return took about a half hour to complete.

Overall good experience at the location. We were out of town and my son had worn slides and they got wet and he got blisters on his feet so we had to stop and get him some shoes. He's in a size that is hard to find but we did find some that he liked and bought them. The staff was nice and not pushy which I like.

Very clean store. Employees were actively cleaning the whole time I was there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also they had a large selection of women's shoes size 11. That size is usually somewhat hard to find. My new favorite shoe carnival!
