I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Simki Properties Management for being such a great host over the past two years. The house was really nice and located in a quiet neighborhood, with a decent and fair cost. I would have loved to stay even longer, but unfortunately, my new job makes it difficult due to the distance.

DO NOT rent with this management they are absolutely horrible, extremely biased and never take urgency in fixing anything. House has multiple issues and they do nothing about it please avoid them at all costs!!!!!!!!! Worst experience of my life

2 stars because I was actually looking for a place to live. They are extremely pleasant, professional, and they don’t waste your time. They pre-screen you before viewings and if you’re not the right fit they tell you in the kindest possible way. They always offer to let you know if something else comes up. They’re kind and helpful and all.

But I wasn’t there to get my nails done or chat with a friend. The prices they want for an empty house with no utilities included are so high you could get a hotel room with concierge service and a dedicated maid for the same price. I know they’re in a tough spot as property managers. They want to put houses out there. They want to help homeowners with their investments. But at some point someone needs to tell Ontario landlords that these insane standards and prices will only attract scammers who are willing to forge their paperwork. They’ll pay first and last because they only have to pay it once, and then sit there for months not paying.

Don’t turn a toilet bowl upside down on your head and complain that everyone is pooping on you. All the good, paying tenants are living in hotel rooms and tents because of you. Don’t come crying to us and our family of 8 packed into 1 room at a Hilton when your scam tenants destroy your house. We were right there waiting to be amazing tenants but you didn’t want us.
