We purchased Corelogic flooring for the entire top level of our home, followed the instructions to a tee including laying pro floor. We left 3/8” for movement as the directions call for. It’s lifting on the edges, cracks into pieces and can not be repaired. The ends that are cracking are random. I would like to have my money returned as we will have to replace all of it again.

Decent selection of products for small town Ponoka. Generally, the customer service has been good, not great though. Hit or miss if you get asked for help. It also does cost more than city stores but you do get the convenance of being local.

I move to Wetaskiwin 1 year ago and I still shop at Sommers Home Hardware in Ponoka.

You cannot ask better staff...there are others but I do not know names.It takes a team to help and please any customers.
I do continue in returning to Sommers because of staff and having product and dont forget price.

They don’t even deserve a one star rating. I’m not impressed with the services at the Ponoka Sommers, Home Hardware store. Very bad service. The workers are more interested in getting out of the store, before helping customers. Shutting the tills down early, so the can leave right at closing. Maybe people who actually don’t want to be there, shouldn’t be manning the store on any afternoon. Came in at 5:20, tills were shut down. If a store hours are till 5:30, why are they not keeping the tills open until then? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

96% of time they have what I need. While it is not as cost effective as going to a larger city, it is definitely convenient.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Worse service I ever received anywhere. Staff has no idea what they sell, can't help with anything at all. All you hear around you is gossip. They couldn't care less about the customers, and to top it off they are impeccably RUDE. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE.DONT SHOP LOCAL. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE. I'D RATHER USE UP ALL MY GAS. IT WILL BE WORTH IT FOR BETTER SERVICE. ATROCIOUS!!!
