Can't speak on the whole company but speaking for Cunard, this place sucks. The building is built so cheaply, there were damages to the brand new unit, unsupervised barking dogs, contractors who will use your belongings as their own, HVAC system runs so loud, flooring is cheap vinyl right over concrete, good luck getting in contact with anyone from the office. The only reason it's not a one star is because the front concierges are really good. Avoid this place and save yourself some money.

Edit: as it turns out it's not the HVAC that keeps me up. It's the maintenance room next door that I was told would have no affect on me.

Property managers couldn’t care less. In December, a resident driver got stuck in the snow and the rez manager came out to give a shovel. Then promptly left without assisting his resident. Four of us continued to help regardless. Recently, they don’t care about flying insect infestations on doors. You need to wait three days for the regular pest control inspection. However, Heather in the Halifax office is great.

Emily Bertrand was the most helpful leasing associate I’ve worked with to date. She was patient in arranging viewings, followed up regularly and always notified me of new availability. Both concierges I met on my tours were lovely, and the units were stunning. The curve and the maple are both beautiful buildings.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Many of their properties are INFESTED with cockroaches. You should only choose Southwest if you want to pay top dollar to live in a roach motel and get on a first name basis with your exterminator. I had to throw away all of my furniture and kitchen appliances as they were full of cockroaches. Just the truth.

We have had three very happy years living in a beautiful apartment in The Maple. We are about to leave Nova Scotia but wanted to write a review. Living here has been a 100% positive experience. The whole team have been brilliant and made us feel very looked after. The apartment is light, easy to maintain and has a fantastic view. Any minor repairs have been fixed so quickly by the amazing maintenance team. The location is great and enhanced by having Arthur's grocery shop and delicious bakery downstairs. The pool and facilities have been an added bonus. We shall miss living here.

My apt manager was amazing, and the property has been managed very well at all time, ( I am not working at Southwest 😀 lol..) Neighbors who were living in my apt were all very friendly. Their response for any inquiry is really quick ( at least for me. ) so we have no complain for Southwest.

if we could find two bedrooms unit in the same building we might not have left there but unfortunately there was no availability in the apt for two bedrooms unit, so we had to leave.

Very NEGLIGENT. UNSAFE living environment despite being a “brand new luxury build”. Sure it might be new, but its unsafe and barely finished. I heard many CONSTRUCTION CREW members COMPLAINING about the building safety, not to mention their CASE HISTORY. If they claim “pet friendly” just know it’s more pet tolerated and they expect abuse behaviour to control animals.
