Update as of January 2025:

Have had two more issues with this company here in Grande Prairie. After several successful transactions with Sutton Group Regina (years ago) it's disappointing to see that the consistently professional service we received in SK didn't continue here in GP, based on these recent interactions:

First, I contacted Kari Thomson (twice) from her Sutton webpage regarding a rental listing she had posted on FB. Both times the messages showed as "sent" but neither one was replied to. I also checked my spam and trash folders, nada.If this rental listing was no longer available , a simple one sentence reply would still have been the appropriate and polite thing to do.

Second, I contacted Daine Montgomery after reading some of his reviews online. In my email I specifically mentioned not wanting to work with someone who planned to "pass us along" to someone else in the office. What a received in reply was an email from someone else, on his behalf. Exactly what I did NOT want. If Mr. Montgomery was so busy that he couldn't assist with our requirements at least he could have written back personally to explain. But that courtesy was not even shown.

As the say goes, "three strikes and you're out". If this is what this company calls "professional" service , they sure didn't show me that in any way.

Since then, I did notice that most of their positive reviews are actually from years ago. Perhaps they had better agents then who weren't too busy to show some courtesy and good manners.

My previous review from several weeks ago,

This review is in reference to Janet Lobsiger, of Sutton Group realty. Went to see one of her GP listings recently and it was a complete waste of our time. The photos of this property had been so "enhanced" that they didn't come even close to the sad, depressing reality we actually saw.

The description was ridiculous too, this was a fixer-upper, plain and simple but was described in the listing as a "character" home.

We were very annoyed and disappointed to have our time taken up seeing a property that had been so misrepresented. This kind of behavior does not instill confidence or trust in this realtor or this company.

Not recommended.Buyer/seller beware.😕

Bad experience with this company. Misrepresented a property that we were interested in, based on the "doctored up" photos they showed on their listing. Not impressed and not recommended.

Jason and his team just get the job done. Always a pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. We have dealt with Jason on two property's in our time in Grande Prairie, neither of which have been high dollar houses, it has never made a difference. The whole process both times has been clean and efficient, Jason knows how to sell a house. I thank both Jason and his Team yet again for a job well done.
