This place is my home away from home. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They genuinely want to see you succeed whatever your level or goal. The owners love their horses and take care of them well, and they know their stuff! The barn is a relaxed place where you can just enjoy yourself and the community is so supportive: and as an adult learning to ride this is the perfect place.

I can’t say enough good things about Sweet Talk Stables! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and felt right at home. The horses are incredibly well cared for and clearly loved — gentle, responsive, and perfect for riders of all experience levels.

All instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and make sure everyone feels safe and confident. The barn itself is clean, organized, and full of charm. It’s obvious that this place is run with heart and a deep passion for horses.

My daughter, brother and I went for a lesson at Sweet Talk Stables. When I called to get information, Dan answered the phone. He is absolutely wonderful. Very personable and friendly. I felt comfortable booking just based on the discussion with Dan and it was a great call. Shaelynn was our pro trainer and she really is a pro! She was absolutely fantastic! We also met Joyce (Dan and Joyce own the stable) who is equally as fantastic as Dan and Shaelynn. We had a super fun beginner lesson filled with positive encouragement, safe and clear instruction, and a lot of smiling and laughing br us. We highly recommend the family owned and operated Sweet Talk family! We really did have a fantastic experience and adventure! Thank-you Dan, Joyce, and Shaelynn. We'll be back!

My new favorite place in Alberta! I had an amazing experience at this beautiful family farm, which is home to goats, chickens, pigs, ducks, and horses. I booked an hour-long ride, and Hope, my guide and coach, was exceptional. The farm's atmosphere was calm and peaceful, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Give them a call to see what unique experiences they have to offer!

I was looking around for about a month to find a place where I could take my three year old for her birthday and sweet talk stables was the ONLY place that was accommodating on date and time. PLUS $20 per kid what a WICKED deal and sooo worth the money to see the smile on my daughter face. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be back! I took my children for a western riding experience in August at Sweet Talk Stables. Both kids loved it and want to come back again the next time we are in Calgary. The Enders (owners) were very inquisitive about our expectations and met them with a smile. I enjoyed the professional explanations that Tom provided during the lesson, prepping and stripping.
The horses at the facility were clean and well kept and seemed to enjoy partaking in the riding lessons and prairy ride. They also have a miniture petting zoo with geese, chickens, goats, pigs and other animals so even non-horseriders can enjoy their visit too.
In general, I recommend Sweet Talk Stables for their enthusiasm and professional approach. It is a bit difficult to get in touch with them if your digitally excluded and only use a phone, but thankfully Joyce responds to emails quickly and can book your next riding experience.

I called this place last minute (literally) on a Sunday on the day of my daughters birthday... in winter, because my daughters "one true wish" for her birthday would be to go horse riding. I didn't think it was going to happen, and probably 10-15 places I called before this either didn't answer or had disconnected lines. The gentleman who answered that Sunday wasn't just helpful,
he was literally the perfect person to answer the call. He made a very special arrangement to give a private lesson just for my daughters birthday and she got her true wish. As a business owner myself I understood exactly where he was coming from on the other end as I am put in positions like that myself and always bend over backwards to make every customer feel like they are my only one. It was nice to be treated the same. Thank you for a great experience!
