I rented an apartment from synercapital. The management team was very fast and helpful on service calls. As opposed to my previous living place, this building is very clean and comfortable. I lived in this student building near uOttawa and had a great experience overall. The location was perfect, literally just a short walk to campus, which made getting to class super convenient. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the place was always kept really clean. Any time I had a maintenance issue, it was taken care of really quickly, which I appreciated a lot. Honestly, it made student living a lot less stressful, I’d recommend synercaptial to anyone looking.

Pembroke Property manager never gets back to your messages. No intercom to receive packages/ guests. Nobody around to hear your concerns. Landscaping around buildings is dismal. Avoid

PEMBROKE: Not a great company or management of properties, was paying hydro for the business beneath the apartment, hot water didn't work for long was "fixed" but resorted back to being cold, provided washer and dryers ate loonies and management didn't care or reimburse, lack of knowledge of the owned properties led to consistent problems, beware from trusting this as your "landlord". Unprofessional behavior from entering my apartment randomly without notice and cranking my heat while I wasn't there for a new tenet showing. Unexplained $200+ hydro bill related to business below, lack of care from management was a main concern post-vacancy

Awful. No consequences for smoking in the building or parking harassment. They turn off the water in the building with no warning for hours at a time. Property management never responds to calls, texts or emails. Issues in your apartment like grout coming off is never fixed. Terrible company.

They were great to rent from for a short time in kingston. Everything started going downhill once they began trying to kick out the older tenants so they could renovate. Once that didn't they would only take online payments. I personally left because they were constantly renovating the apartments around me on weekends. They were running outdoor equipment above my head all weekend. It terrified my pets to the point I had to call in and say something. They just told me that nobody is allowed to renovate there on weekends so that couldn't be right. I left without notice after the third attempt to have it stopped. My walls were literally shaking from the tile grinding and wet saw use. They then tried to charge me an extra month's rent because I left early. Needless to say that did not go far in when I showed the ltb videos of my walls shaking and my pets terrified at 7 am on a Sunday.

In the long run, everybody they got their way. When I showed up less then a week later, they were already renovating my newly vacant apartment.

Pembroke: Very awful company, we were without heat all winter, found out when leaving so were our neighbours. The company blamed it on a water leak that happened months after it was finally fixed. Are now trying to charge us $700+ for them to advertise the unit and do a credit check.
