I moved into Tamerack Place in October of 2022.
The apartments are two bedrooms and spacious. Upon moving in I commented on the worn carpets and the manager said if I wished to replace them with laminate I would have to pay to have them replaced. Since I was planning on staying until I went into a retirement facility I decided it was worth the 1000.00 plus to at least have the livingroom carpet replaced.Happiness soon became frustration as I settled in. Appliances were old so there was a constant fear of coming home to spoiled food after time away. Discovering that the oven burnt everything to a crisp was a disappointment since I love to bake. That took a year and a half before I finally got a new stove.
I became so frustrated that October of 24 I finally had enough and moved.
Tamerack Place is not a apartment complex I would recommend to anyone. The idea that if you want decent flooring you are required to pay and use old appliances that dont work properly is ridiculous when paying 1400.00 plus a month.
The building is looking old and tired outside as well with a front step slowly sinking,emergency doors that heaven help should you have hand mobility issues...the handles dont work properly. Its a sad situation of a owner that is not willing to spend money to do minor and some major upgrades.
A frustrating and sad situation so I advise thinking carefully before making a long term commitment.

Rent is above average for a 2 bedroom apartment in camrose ($1200/$1250) but considering water, internet, tv, and washer/dryer/dishwasher is included... its a pretty good deal (rec room and elevator also).
