A place to stop with your family! Chock full of nostalgic items, including candy and collectibles. Plenty of games/activities for the kids in the car.

The silver "fill your own bags" from the silver bins was a favorite of my family.

A childhood dream.
Passing through Nanton last Sunday June 23 en route to Calgary, I heard about a famous local candy shop so I had to check it out. The selection was breathtaking. One major detail you cannot overlook is how things are organized. Despite how wall-to-wall densely packed the place is (with every flavour of everything) it's organized in such a way that makes intuitive sense. Despite being my first time visiting, I very quickly got a sense of where things were. Furthermore, the staff were so lovely and kind; it felt like I was chatting with some old neighbours that I'd known for years. Smiles all around.
They even sell ice cream! I didn't know this until the young lady at the register asked me if I'd like some. To which I responded, "tempting, but I'm gonna have to resist!" using up all the self-control I had left.

It's such a cute little cool candy store. Amazing unique candy some old schools ones too hehe. They also have puzzles, drinks, books, and little antiques. The kids were loving it, and the adults were "kidding out," lol . Munchies at night after a join, and then these treats came in handy bottle hit the spot. 🍬 🍫 🍭 Service was quick and fast. I'm glad I tried new candy. They were all pretty good.

As others have noted, this store boasts an extensive selection of candies that are difficult to find elsewhere, including those that evoke nostalgic memories of childhood.

To fully appreciate the vast array of offerings, a considerable amount of time is required. However, some prices may be perceived as somewhat steep.

I highly recommend the European gummies in spicy mango flavor, which strikes an excellent balance between spiciness and mango flavor.

The heat level is moderate, so the description should not be a deterrent. The espresso coffee candy is pleasant, although we encountered two instances where the candy contained only air.

The Razzles are also noteworthy, but the flavor duration is relatively short, which is to be expected.

This store is one of the most fun and affordable/family oriented things you can do while in Nanton. If you love candy, you might never leave. Also, no matter your knowledge or taste, they are guaranteed to have something new for you. It is usually busy, and it has an antiques side, but you'll enter the building from the same door. It is hard to say if it is two different owners sharing the same space or one person who divides it in such a way that it is a two in one store. Whatever the case, you'll need to be sure of what area you are going to pay for what, just by asking.

Such a huge selection of snacks and treats it can be hard to make a choice! This place can become crazy busy during the summer months.

This business in Nanton is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, 2024. I have stopped in here for the better part of that 20 years, anytime I was passing through Nanton. Being a candy lover, the selection available here is great. I'm always on the lookout for products that aren't found in other stores. It's a fun kind of place to shop and one can spend a lot of time walking the aisles and making choices. Whatever your taste in sweets, you will find something here to satisfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Given the popularity of the shop, things can get busy, but staff are efficient in processing orders.

They sell ice cream as well and one can get a good variety of flavours, with a decent selection of sizes and servings.

The shop is also part of the antique vibe of Nanton and has an interesting selection of antique and vintage items for sale. Many times I have stopped in to buy candy and left with some antique item, as well.

Over all, a great place to visit when in Nanton.
