Stayed here for a weekend yoga retreat with friends. We were blessed with beautiful Fall weather and breezes. This is a gorgeous and well-appointed home. It feels rustically victorian yet also fresh and new. Plenty of outlets and wifi for our group. Much of our time was spent on the deck doing yoga and the wrap-around porch just hanging out. We also enjoyed just staying in our rooms and relaxing in the comfortable and lovely spaces. The kitchen was nice and large for our communal meal preparations and well stocked with all the tools and appliances needed. Meals around the big dining table were a highlight. I absolutely love the decor and interesting art everywhere you look! Every nook and cranny is designed so beautifully. I especially enjoyed the exquisite bathrooms. The second floor bathroom has beautiful heated floors and stunning views. The downstairs powder room is so peaceful you just want to hang out longer. Fun to walk around the town and see the sights.This trip was mostly spent doing yoga and workshops in the house, but it'd be great to come back for more outdoor activity. Something to look forward to! A beautiful place and wonderful memories filed away. Wish I could have stayed here longer!

We stayed at the Silver Rose the last week of September and had the greatest time. Location is amazing, close to everything, just walk up the street. So cool. We rented bikes and rode a variety of trails close to the house, Whitney & Johnny are great hosts and gave us the low down on all of the pro tips around the area!! We will be back as we loved Leadville and The Silver Rose! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ?

What a wonderful place to meet my sister and my niece who now lives in Colorado. We love skiing in Leadville because it is far less crowded than some of the other near-by ski mountains, and this beautiful home made our vacation perfect. Because every room was so beautifully decorated, I don't know where to start. The kids would say the third floor with a pool table, games, and the TV was the best. Some of the family would say the well-appointed kitchen and long dining room table for meals and game-playing takes the prize. However, I'm picking the beautiful master bedroom and adjoining bath. They were a dream after a day on the slopes. The spacious bedroom and bath, so much like home, are a far better choice than a hotel room.
I wish I could have the interior decorator of this home select some wallpaper form my home! Simply beautiful. Plus, the unique artwork was the topic of our evening conversations, and has inspired me to try my creative hand! We will be back!

Idyllic location with outdoor fun at your fingertips! Cute town and wilderness all around. The house was perfect for our gathering with lots of common space and perfect nooks for alone time. The kitchen is nicely appointed (wait until you see the chandelier!) and lots of functional space. The decor was unique and I loved all the wallpaper! We used the outside deck a lot too. Every inch was usuable and breathtaking. The bunkbeds were big enough for two people per bed, which was a treat given we had two people per bed in the bunk room! I hope to be staying at the Silver Rose again very soon.

Where does one even begin with this absolute beauty of a home! I had the pleasure of spending a weekend at this property for a yoga retreat, and I couldn’t have imagined a better place. The home accommodated our large group with total ease and comfort. It could get by on its looks alone, but the fact that it backs it up with ALL of the amenities, super comfy beds, a beautifully stocked kitchen and all the space you need makes it a dream come true. Cannot recommend this home enough and cannot wait to visit again!

We had a "girls weekend" at The Silver Rose in early October and the home did not disappoint. The decor is beautiful, amazing kitchen with everything you may need (including spices) and impeccably clean. Plenty of bedrooms/sleeping options to accomodate larger groups. The deck was great to relax with coffee or wine and enjoy the mountain air. Just a couple blocks walking distance from exploring downtown Leadville. If you are looking for a place that is a notch above the competition, look no further.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Silver Rose in Leadville. Everything was perfect for our 2 families during our Spring Break skiing vacation. Big dining table for everyone to eat together and have a fun family game night! We loved the tear drop bath tub for a relaxing hot bath apres ski and everyone rested well in their comfy beds. Owner's are very kind and responsive. Highly recommend this beautiful mountain home - hope to come back sometime soon!

This house is worthy of Architectural Digest! It's beyond amazing. Every detail of this custom home is perfection. A guest wants for nothing plus it's walking distance from town. The hosts have done an incredible job perfecting the look of old Leadville with new Leadville. The furnishing are spot on. I haven't loved a rental this much in forever. Plus, a cup of coffee on the porch looking at the mountains is a great way to wake up. You MUST rent this place! It's SO worth it.
