During my recent stay here, I was pleasantly surprised by the seamless blend of apartment-style comfort and five-star service. We love love loved staying here! My husband and I stayed at Watermark while visiting family in Yellowknife and our experience was amazing. The unit was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. From microwave, a full stove + oven, to clothes iron. The unit we stayed in had a balcony that had beautiful views of the lake. The furniture inside were well kept and cozy and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Definitely recommend staying here for a comfortable stay and the best views. It so happened that the aurora was out every night we were there, so we got to enjoy our stay a little bit more!

This is an apt complex. I was in the 13th floor and had a wonderful view of Great Slave Lake. It was a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony. Leasing office was helpful when I had issues with the wifi. I thought I lost my keys while searching for the Northern Lights and called but there was no answer. (Luckily I found them. Keys and the lights). I was able to see the lights from the living room one night. ||It is located a few blocks from the main street. You can walk if you need to. Also very close to the ice road. I read a lot of mixture reviews from other larger hotels, and Airbnbs in town. It was a good mix of being close enough to the city, but also far enough a way that you can see the lights. I feel very lucky that I got this place, not only was it very nice, but it also had a beautiful view. For reference I came in March, and saw the lights three out of five nights I was here.||In order to make my reservation, I had to call the office. I actually wasn’t even sure if this place still existed because there were no reviews since 2019. But it does and it was very nice.

The Watermark Tower is a great alternatives to the inns and hotels in Yellowknife. It might not be as convenient as the others, but it is still within walking distance to everywhere. The view is simply stunning, we had the lake side view which offered 180deg views and we could even see the aurora from the balcony. The room was beautifully furnished, the kitchen well stocked with utensils, there is even a small gym in the building. They also have vending machines and pay phones in the lobby. The only down side to the hotel was that housing keeping was minimum.

This is one of my favourite place to stay in Yellowknife. Upon my arrival, Angela at the front desk already had all the paperwork for me to sign and in less than a minute, she handed me the key and I was on my way to the apartment. ||The apartment is extremely spacious and it is just like home away from home. The kitchen contains all the cookware that I need. It has a dish washer as well. Nice touch. ||The living room is nice and the TV is on a lazy Susie and it shares between the living room and the bedroom. ||The bed is very comfortable. And the mattress is nice. ||The housekeeping comes by the room to clean twice a week. Once to tidy up and once to change all the sheets. ||It is a little bit far from downtown. But the comfort makes it worthwhile. ||Did I mention they have a pretty nice gym? 🙂

We visited Yellowknife for 3 nights in early October. We chose the Watermark for its in room cooking facilities and balcony views over the lake. There was a slight mix up with our arrival time which initially resulted in a few difficulties but they were quickly resolved. The room itself was clean and tidy had a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and separate bedroom. The balcony with its marvelous views was also a highlight. it was only a 5 min walk to central Yellowknife and all facilities. An excellent choice it turned out to be!

We rented a one bedroom with a view of Great Slave Lake. ||The accommodations were clean, and lots of space and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the balcony and we spent lots of time there looking at the view.of the Lake. ||Everything was supplied. The only thing needed was our groceries .||A big thank you to the front staff and the service provided to our room. Everyone was friendly and professional.||I definitely recommend this hotel. We will be back .

We booked two apartments for a week's stay in March. They were really comfortable. We had a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and a balcony from which to enjoy the view over the lake, ice road and ice castle. We were lucky to see the aurora dancing over the lake on a couple of nights. The rooms were serviced regularly. The staff were very friendly.
