Not only are the people who work in the town office rude but equally the counsel is out of touch with what the town needs. Okotoks on the outside appears to be progressive and thriving, but one good snow fall and the town is a mess of mismanagement. It is clear that the town of Okotoks does not want you to get to work because they just do not clean. And on numerous occasions people have asked for a consistent bus service that did not require days in advance booking, why not offer bus every day with stops? I do not see scheduled busing viable when you have locked your keys in your vehicle and have to walk. The town is just out of touch, and living in a fantasy.

The city refuses to clear the extremely dangerous ice off Milligan drive. It's just a matter of time before somebody is killed on that road, and it will be the fault of city officials.

Very rude, disrespectful and unaccommodating. The lady in the utilities water department is extremely unprofessional. They don’t care about small businesses at all! Whatever you do do not build anything in Okotoks. It’s an absolute nightmare. Even if you pay your bills on time but it doesn’t go through till the next business day they will give you a huge penalty they are super greedy and just want all your money!! I had heard this from numerous people and it really is true. They only deserve negative 5 stars but they only have 1 as the lowest option!! Very disorganized and poorly run.

I am disappointed. I received a very large water bill (more than my mortgage payment). I had to call twice to receive a call back. Somebody came out but was unable to figure out source of random water leak. I have tried to email to have the rate reviewed in case they are able to help me out a little with the cost. My emails keep getting bounced back and I am getting nowhere. Very discouraged and frustrated.

Found the staff in building inspections and safety dept difficult to deal with. I have issues with a home build I had done in 2016 and found out I have no occupancy permit for the home. They now want to come in and conduct a final inspection with the builder over 3 years after the fact. This is extremely alarming to me as a citizen paying taxes to live here. I have no confidence at all with all involved who work in that office, top to bottom.
