We just bought a place outside of Sydney, and wanted to give a shout out to our absolutely wonderful agent Sheila McKinnell. It's fair to say it was a bit of a journey, but Sheila got us through it, with aplomb. It wasn't just a case of going the extra mile, it was at least a half marathon. And this was for a place
costing comfortably less than 100,000, so you know, it wasn't because of the money. . .

She's just a great agent, down to earth, competent, resourceful, and helpful, with a depth of local knowledge that made all the difference between us getting the house and not. And a wicked sense of humour to boot.

Buying a house can be stressful. It is! It was! But at the end of it, I feel like we made a friend. If you're looking for a place on the island, I honestly cannot recommend Sheila highly enough.

I planned to buy a vacation home in the CBRM. I contacted Sheila MacKinnon about one of her properties, but the property wasn't for us as it needed too much work. I offered her more money if she would actually check to see if there were homes available that were Non-Smoking homes. She only wanted to set up a Search email. She refused to say Hello or Hi in any email. Then she tells me that she is too busy! Imagine that, a Too Busy realtor in the CBRM. I asked if there was someone available who could help. SHe gives me her brokers number. I call the number but she gave me the wrong munber. I told her that I did not want to work with her and to not contact me. But she still needed the last word
