The building next door are getting windows done for $12000 for 2 bedroom apartments. We were charged $24000 for 1 bedroom apartments. Michelle avoids everyone and has held online annual meetings for the last 4 years refusing to meet anyone in person. On top of that she like wearing diamond necklaces to annual meetings, enjoys multiple vacations, a golf club membership, and according to sources at her office she went and got herself a brand new Porsche 911.The condo corporation of Ontario is no help because they actually work with companies like Weigel (probably because theyre of the same stock). The system is rigged folks and if society breaks down we can thank the politicians and the police and lawmakers who protect companies like Weigel. Another board member suddenly resigned and disappeared into the sunset after the "special assessment" pulled off because decades of fees simply "weren't enough." On top of that they use questionable online voting tools to make sure that honest people aren't elected onto the Board that can investigate just what these people have done our hard earned money. To make themselves look like decent people Michelle and the rest of her employees and subcontractors like to have "food bank drives to help societies most vulnerable"......I mean you can not make this stuff up! Welcome to Canada folks.

Our Condo Corporation has been with Weigel for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier. The staff keeps our corporation on point, and they take great care of things and of our property. Special thanks goes out to Dawn Gouveia for her incredible management and attention. We are in a better place with her and Weigel.

Avoid this property management company like the plague!
The first picture is a picture of the garage at my place. We had squirrels living in the ceiling for months without them doing anything about it, the picture of the garage is a part of the ceiling that completely fell down, exposing a bunch of mould, insulation, and squirrel pee/poop. Our laundry room is down in the garage so whenever you go down to do laundry you have to pretty much hold your breath due to the smell. The insulation pile + hole in the garage ceiling was left there for three weeks before being fixed and cleaned.
The second picture was taken July 14th and is a spot of mould above the kitchen sink in my unit. It was brought to the attention of building management around that time and they finally sent a plumber on August 17th, who fixed the leak but did not seal the hole in the ceiling, which still has exposed mould. At the time of writing this review (Sept 11th) the hole is still in the ceiling.
I am a tenant here, and when Weigel first took over the building management, we were able to message them and get a reply, it would take a while but at least they would answer. As soon as we started bringing up serious building issues such as mould and insulation, they informed us of a new policy where they don't take emails from tenants, only landlords, and refused to answer emails about our concerns.
If you like health code violations and getting no response from building management then Weigel Property Management is for you!

My experience with Weigel Property Management has been deeply marred by their unprofessional communication style, particularly via email. Their correspondence is often formatted in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, utilizing ALL CAPS, excessive highlighting, and bold text. This approach not only makes the emails hard to read but also conveys a tone that is both condescending and commanding.

Furthermore, the frequency of these emails is overwhelming. Receiving multiple emails per day that are formatted in such an abrasive style is not only disruptive but also creates an environment of constant tension and discomfort. The tone of these emails often borders on insulting, reflecting a lack of respect and professionalism towards the residents.

The way Weigel communicates indicates a disregard for basic email etiquette and professionalism. It’s disappointing and frustrating to deal with a property management company that communicates in such a disrespectful manner. This kind of communication is not conducive to a healthy, respectful relationship between a management company and its residents.

Based on these experiences, I would caution anyone considering Weigel Property Management to be wary of their communication practices. Their approach lacks the professionalism and respect necessary for effective and harmonious property management.

I have been on several condo boards for twenty or more years. The three years with Weigle Property Management is the best decision we have made.

I have found Weigle’s ability to deal with all facets of condominium association business to be excellent, professional, courteous, responsive and highly effective are the best terms to use to concisely describe their service.

Our representative Dawn is extremely proficient and we are fortunate to have her handle our affairs as well as the team she has assisting her in many areas. Weigle went above and beyond always being available. Highly recommend.

Would recommend avoiding living/renting anywhere managed by WCSS. They are unprofessional and disorganized.
Some examples:
- they will periodically ghost clients for over three weeks when you are looking for a service
- depending on who answers the phone/emails, you will get DRASTICALLY different messages
- they will not provide basic services such as setting up a parking spot despite previous mentions that there were multiple available (they told me this)
I have rented with four different property rental companies since moving to Waterloo. This is the first time I’ve ever had any issues dealing property management companies. Please save yourself a headache and avoid anything to do with Weigel.

AVOID this company at all costs. They don't look after their properties. If you say a truth; they shut you down. The building I am in is being run so poorly long term folks are leaving in droves including me. RUN RUN RUN from anything run by these clowns. I only gave them the star cause I had to give something.
