Christine @ bay one has been so accommodating and wonderful. We got news today that unfortunately our move in date is being moved back. Everything the company is providing us (and being communicated on through Christine) has proved to be helpful and useful in this situation! We are some of the few who cannot extend their current lease. And Christine has been working with us non stop to help us with all the transitions. Always available to chat, and with a good attitude. I’m sure it’s not an easy job, and I know clients in high stress situations probably aren’t fun. But we appreciate you! I know it will be a wonderful time once we get settled there this summer. The walk through was exciting. I can’t wait to see the finished courtyard & pool!

Although we aren't purchasing, we are renters and have taken a unit in Bay One at Westrich, we couldn't be more impressed with the staff.

We initially were dealing with Cole when the project first started getting built, and he was fantastic. He always had an answer for us and was very helpful with the many many questions we had.

We are now dealing with Christine, who is also very wonderful to deal with. She has been incredibly helpful and friendly. Again, she is very helpful with the many questions we have, and has put us at ease with the upcoming move into our new place. She has such a positive attitude and we can tell she is very proud of the whole project and is a perfect fit for her job.

We also were able to tour our building, and all of the staff on site are great. Even walking by the site, the staff are always smiling and saying hi and are happy to say a few words to us.

Westrich clearly hires great staff, and we are very much looking forward to our move this summer.

Westrich Bay Rentals

I want everyone to know that this company has gone above and beyond in making sure we are taken care of.

This is a new build so of course we knew the move in timeline would be fluid, we expected this. Having a manager like Christine has made this entire ordeal not only tolerable, but it has also made it very peaceful. We know that no matter what happens, we will be taken care of.

Moving is stressful, new build timeline is extremely stressful, however, dealing with Westrich and specifically Christine, has allowed us to handle everything that has been thrown our way.

Unethical Rental Practices and Lack of Accountability.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with the leasing team at Westrich Bay properties. I contacted the senior leasing coordinator to ask whether their $1000 pre-tenancy deposit and $30 application fee were legal under the Westbank First Nation Residential Premises Law. She claimed both were legal.

However, after reviewing the law, I referenced key sections:
- Section 25.1(a) clearly states that a landlord cannot collect a deposit before a tenancy agreement is entered into.
- Section 11.1 requires Council approval for application fees.
- Section 5.4 voids any lease term that contradicts the law.

When I brought these concerns forward, I was told I’d hear back from their legal team, but no response ever came. I followed up with both the leasing coordinator and head office. However, I’ve received no reply.

This lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for tenant rights is unacceptable. I have since reported this issue to the Westbank First Nation's authority and am waiting on a formal response.

If you’re a renter seeking housing on WFN lands, I urge you to carefully review your legal rights under the WFN Residential Premises Law before paying any deposit or fee. This experience raises serious concerns about compliance with Indigenous housing regulations and fair treatment of tenants.

Best Sales experience ever. Was browsing through and came across Westrich Bay’s Ad of selling new homes in Kelowna’s waterfront community at affordable prices. I got curious and Registered just one week before opening and Boom!, I was surprised to get a response from Cole a very friendly, cordial and professional in approach sales person. He helped me through the entire sales process of providing me important information on the new community and also providing a tip to lining up early for a chance to get a condo on the opening day.
Although I stood in queue for six long hours it was worth the line up, as I scored almost the last one bedroom Condo left and my experience once I was in the showroom was pleasant. Thanks Cole for making me a Proud owner of a small piece of this amazing prime property on the waterfront. Appreciate your professional salesmanship and support to customers.

Our experience in purchasing one of the waterfront townhomes was exemplary. With construction of Westrich Bay just beginning there are obviously a lot of questions from a buyer's perspective and Cole was great to deal with. Excellent experience with Cole Killeen and the entire Westrich team. This is shaping up to be one of the hottest new projects in West Kelowna. The Service was top-tier. The team was attentive and on-point and they made me feel comfortable and well informed through the entire process. Highly recommend this project and the incredible team and collaboration with Westbank First Nation (WFN). The location and amenities are epic: Infinity pool, private beach, hot tub, cold plunge, boat slip access. There is also NO tax on the purchase. A Pulsing Five Stars!
