Our property manager left a set of keys for pick up at WRM’s front desk. I believe there was some sort of miscommunication and the receptionist was unable to find the email confirming the key was to be picked up by myself or my husband.

Although I clearly stated the property address and showed her the message I received from the agent that the keys were there, she repeated that there were no keys waiting for me nor could she give me anything as I wasn’t the owner of the unit nor was I the agent of said unit. Strange because, I never asked for anyone to break the rules, all I said was that I was there to collect keys which had been left for us by the agent! This went on for a few minutes. When I finally sat down to contact the agent she realized she had made a mistake, found the keys “oh here they are”, and proceeded to throw the envelope on the counter and continued to look at her screen. No apology, awful attitude and confrontational.

From a professional standpoint and standard PM protocol I wasn’t asked to formally identify myself or sign to confirm collection of the keys. Some important security steps were skipped which is alarming. I guess the focus was on being rude and unprofessional. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever seen or experienced.

Numerous calls and emails go unanswered (always out of office reply) They took 4 hrs to send a plumber to turn off the water in the unit upstairs from us that was leaking into our unit. Our unit was ruined and it took 6 months to repair it. Strata manager left with no notice and we were left to deal with the contractor ourselves. After giving a key to numerous contractors, I had no more keys and needed to get into the unit. They would not reimburse me the locksmith charge to get a new key. Beau Craig the strata manager and Matthew Kelly are hopeless and useless at best and the Eagle Ridge Strata is also a bunch of incompetent clowns.

Hi Adrian,

Once again, you are acting like a spoiled child not getting their way. Hurling insults at anyone that doesn’t agree with your perspective. Your online review is no different. It is a perfect example of how unreasonable some people can be.

Please refrain from involving us (WRM) in your online rants that complain about strata council decisions. The strata council will continue to act in the best interest of all owners regardless of your continued insults.

Exceptional group of staff who care about their work and the Whistler community. This town would not survive without this well managed company. The only strata management company to recommend in Whistler, Squamish, Vancouver Island and now Penticton! Glad to hear they will be able to provide service outside of the Sea to Sky. Tell your strata council!

WRM has managed my strata since the early 90's and we have always been happy with them. Minor maintenance requests are dealt with quickly and the larger projects we've had over the years have been managed well. It's nice to not have to remind the property manager about seasonal tasks like preparing the property for winter, it is all done for us automatically. I've sat on council a few times, dealing with a couple of different agents, and the agents have always been organized and very knowledgeable.

IF you are looking for a company that provides clear and accurate communication this is not it. We have the unfortunate luck of having WRM as our "property manager" he has really struggled to give us a level of service that we pay for and to be honest if it was free it still would not be worth it. I would recommend ANY other company but this and if they where the only ones left i would sell. Before you go out and hire this place please ask around every time i do I get the same review. remember there are plenty of great companies out there this is in my option is not one of them

I’ve been on the Board of our Whistler strata council for a while. We’ve dealt extensively with Ross Redman at WRM. I’ve found, and I believe I speak for the whole Board, Ross and WRM to be thoughtful, responsive, professional in all of our dealings. This has applied to normal monthly operations and to performance related to a much larger project of which Ross has been the co-leader, with our Board Chair. Ross and WRM have added much value to the complicated planning of this project.
I value Ross and WRM and recommend them highly.
