Been living here with my family for almost a decade now. The building should be focusing on repairing the floors and laundry machines and implementing no smoking within the units.
This building has been ok for the most part but I find myself questioning living here with the constant smell of cigarette smoke filling up the hallways and my unit!
My family is constantly inhaling secondhand smoke from our neighbours and my little sisters have been getting sick because of it…
It’s a pity that nothing has been done about this for years…

A joke of an apartment. The building is constantly raising rent above the guidelines on repairs they claim cost an exuberant amount of money when really they cut corners everywhere just to ensure the rent increase goes straight to Capreit's higher ups in corporate.

We just got off 2 months of not having an elevator after the elevator keeps breaking. They 'repaired' it probably again cutting corners and it's broken again. But they will have no problem putting that 'million dollar' repair on the next raise. They also do unnecessary cosmetic 'repairs" like painting the hallway (and doing a terrible job at it). Run, don't walk, away from this mess.

Place is a dump. They’re constantly raising rent prices to afford capital expenses yet half the time the elevator doesn’t work, dogs piss and shit right in front of the entrance, maintenance work is half assed- floors coming loose, exposed electrical wires, outlets without covers, shitty paint jobs, bugs, thin windows that drive your hydro bill through the roof. Tenants don’t pick up after their dogs so the front entrance and lawn is covered with dog feces. They put all their effort into the lobby but neglect to clean other areas like the stairwell where I’ve found puke, food, dead insects, garbage and blood splatters. The place is a dump and I think Karen and Grace/Capreit should allocate their budget better. There’s amenities that would benefit the tenants like a swimming pool located in the basement area that remains abandoned but instead they focus on how they can gain more income like putting a vending machine in the laundry room instead of putting in more laundry machines as the others are always breaking down or are in use by tenants who leave their soiled laundry in the machines for hours at a time. This place is great if you’re a student and will be living her temporarily but us long term tenants are extremely dissatisfied. I’m ashamed to call this home

Amazing apartments and fantastic property managers! I and my sisters have lived here for many years and it is wonderful! it really feels like home <3 Karen, Grace and Randy are amazing and are always there for us and they are so kind and caring! they have helped us so much! I've always felt very safe here and like a part of a big family. The apartments are spacious and very well maintained and the air conditioning is awesome. We recently got new windows as well and they look gorgeous. I am so happy to call this place our home! There are also community events like the yearly garage sale which is really cool! Thank you for giving us an amazing place to live! ~Izzy

This is such a wonderful community we have at 1297 Marlborough Court. Karen and Grace are always so sweet whenever I visit them in the office. There is nothing but smiles!! Carlos and Randy work equally as hard and never fail to wish me a good day whenever I see them. The community wouldn't be the same without them! I've loved my time at the apartment and will treasure this experience!

Whenever I opened a request for maintenance or Fixation within 1 or 2 days they will act swiftly to get done. Your Efforts and supports are highly respected and appreciated.

Wonderful location in Oakville close to trails and other essential services. Big up the staff for their amazing commitment to maintaining a clean and positive atmosphere to live in. Requests are easily dealt with swiftly and notifications are adequately communicated. Big up Gracie and Karen for their excellent work especially.
