The staff are wonderful! The cleaner keeps the shared spaces clean, the maintance guy (Nick I believe) is very detailed and knowledgeable. And the building manager goes above and beyond, (Elisa) she is so quick to help me with anything I need!
I like the security of the underground parking and the spacious decks.

this company is a joke, harassment from employees and management, help line is useless, discrimination against service dogs and disabilities, human rights violations. blood and feces (Biohazard i had to clean) found in my suite 2 day after moving in. 47 used/full dog poop bags behind my dryer from last tenant. property is in very poor care. meny aggressive dogs some that have attacked me, my mom, my partner, my dad and my service dog. reported meny times to management and "higher ups" nothing done. property management doesn't do anything. she lies to tenants, let's them move in with animals that break the terms and policies agreement just to evict people for breaking the agreement. NEVER LIVE HERE, YOU WILL HATE IT.

Living at Willows Crossing has been a lovely experience. On-site staff are friendly, helpful, and wonderful people. The rooftop patio is very nice, and the community garden is lovely. I've enjoyed using the dog-wash station multiple times, and it is so much easier than trying to wash my dog in the bathtub. Having the option to reach out to a 24/7 call service has been great. My only complaint would be that you can hear your neighbours quite easily through the walls.

Very friendly staff, and well maintained common areas & respectful maintenance staff. Communication was mostly good, with some spotty issues involving move-out, and some minor issues with finish quality for a brand new apartment (doors & trims). Would recommend for roommates or small families with a pet, but probably not for a single tenant.

Amazing company to rent from! Just moved in a week ago and any questions or problems I had were solved swiftly despite the busy time of everyone moving in to the brand new building. Super friendly staff as well.
The apartment itself is definitely a budget home and the build quality of cabinets, baseboards, and such reaches the bare minimum in my opinion. The porch is a nice bonus though.
They amazingly allow pets so now I have two kittens 🙂 So far extra amenities have been few but basics like parking and waste are all handled well.
Definitely recommend giving willows crossing a look.

Non-smoker nightmare!

Broadstreet permits cigarette smoking, on balconies. But once you allow that, then people also smoke inside. The smoke from apartments below comes into your apartment in many ways. The always-on bathroom fan pulls it in through any open window or via the H/AC unit in the living room. I’ve also had smoke come up when everything has been shut. Don’t ask me how, but apparently air flows up the spaces in the walls from apartments below.

Broadstreet has not taken any effective action in response to smoke issues. I’m not just talking about my situation: I’ve talked to other tenants with the same issues.

So, non-smokers, parents with children, people with asthma, people who don’t want diseases caused by second hand smoke, GO ELSEWHERE! For your own good and your own peace of mind.

If you already live here and have a smoke issue, here are some things you can do:
- Keep a log of every time you have been impacted by smoke. Record date and time and pertinent details.
- Communicate with the landlord in writing (eg email). Keep copies of this communication. It could be a matter of months or years until it’s resolved.
- Contact your MLA constituency office. They will be helpful. Plus, they need to know what kind of housing their government has been subsidizing and permitting.
- Register a complaint with the BC Residential Tenancy Branch.
- File a complaint with the BC Human Rights Tribunal: re: “peace and enjoyment of your own home”.
- Consult a lawyer, if you can afford it.

Terrible company to deal with. Kept getting bounced around to different people. This lead to us having to resend information multiple times because we kept dealing with someone different each time during our application. We were told to setup a hydro account and rental insurance to secure the rental. However, the address wasn't even active yet and a hydro account couldn't be setup.
They pushed back the move in date a month because the building still wasn't finished and then we called and emailed multiple times to let them know we no longer wanted to wait for a secured move in date. Finally after getting a hold of someone, they told us we don't get our damage deposit back even though we notified them a month before the original move in date which was pushed back another month, therefore had two months notice and still would not refund the damage deposit. Highly recommend not dealing with this company at either location - Willows Crossing or Timber Terrace.
